From late spring through early fall, the Royal Gorge Farmers Market sets up at the Gateway Depot & Plaza on US-50, bringing together local growers, ranchers, bakers, and artisan food producers. The market is a Saturday morning tradition for Cañon City residents and a showcase of the agricultural roots that run deep in the Arkansas River valley.
The Farmers Market is more than a place to buy produce. It is a weekly community gathering point where you run into your neighbors, grab a coffee, and start your weekend the way people in small Colorado towns have done for generations.
Local Produce & Goods
Fresh seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, honey, baked goods, jams, and artisan food products from farms and producers in the Arkansas Valley and Fremont County.
Community Marketplace
Handcrafted goods, artisan vendors, live music, and a community atmosphere at the Gateway Depot & Plaza. Organized by the Royal Gorge Chamber Alliance.
The Farmers Market runs seasonally, typically Saturday mornings from June through September. Check with the Royal Gorge Chamber Alliance for the current season schedule and vendor information.
